If you are seeing cars with more range in almost every case, it's not because they are more efficient than Tesla. It's because they are putting larger and larger batteries in and that's why those vehicles almost always cost substantially more than an equivalently featured Tesla. Look at the nearly 500-mile-range Hummer or the Escalade IQ. They have over 200 kWh batteries and cost $150,000 plus.

I've had EVs for three years. I drive 25,000 miles a year and only have had a supercharged four times. The extra five to ten minutes spent in order to have a car that's much less expensive is well worth it considering I don't waste ten minutes a week getting my hand smelling like gasoline every single week at a gas station.
