@willrook93@Transfer_JimITK Fair, thought he was a freebie but seems not having checked. Still, it's the right model and I'm sure we'll have similar clauses in place. I'm not sure he's ready for that level yet but good luck to him.
@willrook93@Transfer_JimITK That's the trade off for getting him in for free in the first place though right. Fee is £1m+, only 30+% is due to Everton. He'd never played above L2 12 months ago. Decent bit of business, how the club needs to operate.
@Transfer_JimITK Weird take that isn't it. I'm not happy about it buts it's the model City need to adopt. Signed on a free 12 months ago and he'd never played above L2. We're now getting our biggest transfer fee since Wells (exc. McBurnie add ons) to reinvest. Top work from Sharpe and co.
@ForeverWAFC He was a great for the first half the season. Second half as bang average a player as you can see in L1 & spent most of his time avoiding yellows rather than playing properly. Did a job, the move makes sense personally for him, we move on. Served a purpose but also no great loss.
@JamieRaynor Currently listening poolside in Majorca. Being 36 years of age Derm brings back some absolutely great memories for me. Bumped into him at the chippy in Crewe once upon time, great fella. Love the podcast.
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table, alongside a reprimand in respect of all the charges.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.
Would be happier thinking #BCAFC can overturn a one goal deficit had we applied any serious pressure on Bolton tonight. But we offered nowt. Glad to still be in the tie for now. Roll on Thursday.
@SMFIRTH90@officialbantams Guessing they're not classified as "official". Be to do with how attendances were tracked and/or lack of proper records. Poetic licence being used.
@lee_metcalfe7 6 points is an absolute guarantee. Beat Plymouth and I think that it's pretty much done as Luton and Bolton still have to play each other so one of them, if not both, will drop some points and won't be able to catch us as well as Plymouth.
