@ur_favqueenie Nah, as soon as Freddy started talking about Jacob and Esau, I was suspicious of him, and when the bad thing happened, I said straight away it had to be Freddy, because we were shown Eddie telling him about their itinerary. There is a reason we were shown that.
@IanBurkePerry@RoyalBlueRapto1@KatinOxford I believe (and I may be wrong) that recent DNA analysis of Ava, who was a Beaker people burial found in scotland, showed that she was dark skinned, meaning the mutation was far later than was previously thought. One of the archeologists spoke on a podcast I listen to.
@bullrike Based on Harry's year of birth, I would be somewhere between the twins and Percy in age, and Hogwarts is massively more diverse than my schools. Primary was 100% white, Seniors 99.9% white.
@RoyalBlueRapto1@KatinOxford Scottish people are known for their pale skin, yet the Beaker People were likely black. The original skin colour on earth was black.
@KatinOxford It makes sense to me, after all the first people were black, and with white skin as a later mutation, that works for Narnia as well as it does for Earth. Also, a 1950s cabby, that fits.
@MBurtwrites I think the conversation has become very clouded by odd dogma that isn't even relevant. We only portray God (the father) as male because some men in highly patriarchal times wrote that in their books. As we are all created in God's image, surely it is more complex than that. 3/3
@MBurtwrites The sesond one is that just because CSL said Alsan is God, that doesn't make it true, and it feels blasphemous to say it is. If JK Rowling said HP was Jesus (and the parallels are there) it wouldn't be accepted as fact, why is this different? 2/?
@FaithKMoore Anne of Cleves. She was out of her depth, torn between brother and husband, and still managed to make a good outcome for herself. She was far better off as Henry's sister than his wife, and from all accounts better in England than at home.
@TashP351 The James Bond nods and parallels in episode 6 were amazing. I actually liked this season, except I thought Chuckle's husband was a bit of a git, being mean to Geoff just to get everyone to admit the secret.
@herpsoftoday When seeing one in NZ, we were told they were dinosaurs. We were also told NZ broke off from Pangea/Australia before mammals appeared, which is why so many flightless birds.
@Medievalhtybuff To me, that is the million dollar question. It is plausible that he didn't know until after the fact, but if that is the case, why not denounce the perpetrators? Also, if he knew they were dead, say so and avoid pretenders or people trying to free them. So many questions.
@stephafterhours The Death Eaters had to see Harry leaving, otherwise the information given to them about the plan would seem fake. Still protecting Snape's cover. Also, they wouldn't believe Harry had left if they didn't see him.
