@iiiitsandrea Their OG stores in DC had them for the first few years - I loved the guac greens in a wrap. Think they did away with them as they expanded originally to simplify operations
My conversation with @GrahamCWeaver, the founder of Alpine Investors.
Graham built this large private equity firm by buying companies and handing them over to ~27-year-old CEOs. He tells the entire story of the firm here.
Enjoy!

@bryce I just had a similar experience a few months ago - one dealership seemed to want me to prove my interest was real by doing a test drive… which means I didn’t buy a car from them
@FreightAlley A private version would basically be the NE Corridor/Acela and maybe Pacific Surfliner. My understanding is that everything else hemorrhages money. A lot of senators would have to explain to their constituents why there is no more passenger rail in 40 states
@micsolana Initially was on my “no brainer renew” list along with Cometeer…. Then the reverse network effects kicked in hard and it’s basically useless. Haven’t used it at the airport last 5-6 times although it did get me into MSG quicker….
