@LinkedInHelp My LinkedIn account has been hacked for over 3 days and nothing has been done about it. How long will I have to wait to get this fixed? (The automated emails from your team are not helping at the moment)
@kitchy2k I have found out that typing extreme values for the Poisson distribution in these fake calculators results in an answer of 0 when the actual result is meant to be non-zero. Certainly will cost marks in Further Stats exams! Avoid at all costs!!
@RJS2212@douglasbutler1@geogebra@Desmos@autographmaths I suppose something like the following with “final columns” for outcomes and probability calc. Nothing too much more specific - just the ability to quickly churn out many tree diagrams based on the input criteria the user puts in.
Does anyone know of a neat, well proportioned probability tree diagram maker that allows one to vary number of branches (not necessarily symmetric) and assign text/mathematical formulae for the probabilities and events? @RJS2212@douglasbutler1@geogebra@Desmos@autographmaths
@suffolkmaths Hi! Came across your brilliant resources website! This link doesn't seem to be working on it for proof sadly (it seems to point to probability instead)...
@SteveOs96582826@LearningMaths Yes, I love the book ‘Adapting and Extending Secondary Mathematics Activities’ by Prestage and Perks - one of the first tasks I tried from that is below and changed the way I teach this topic - small change but made a big impact
