@Just_Maths Not too late. On into early Nov is okay. Obviously if they are early flowerers your flowers may be a tad late, but they will catch up next year. Good luck & enjoy!
@teachsteven@missdcox I use it a lot on display resources, although I find it a bit "busy" to look at, myself. Personally I like Calibri and Arial for clarity. I am curious - what prompts your question?
@TheWizardSci@adamboxer1 I have a cheerful coloured tray per 2-person table to take the w/bs. There is also a colourful cotton wiper cloth hand-knitted by me, each one a different design, because why not?!
@ryandal@tombennett71 Handwritten while supervised, to avoid the copying out by hand of AI-aided answers. AI may well benefit the preparation process genuinely, but only if maturely and honestly used by the student.
@tes@kennygfrederick@Tamsin_J_Ford I'm interested to know of schools attempting to do this. I am currently running "Attendance Group" a 6-week intervention aimed primarily at students attending around 70%-85%, with the hope of helping them improve their attendance. Anyone else doing similar?
@mrlockyer Mine is steel. Some are steel-effect plastic. It makes a definite difference to the weight and feel in use. My preference is for 0.5mm, but it's a personal thing.
@mrlockyer Good price on Amazon currently. You won't regret it. I bought them for my daughter's too. There's a perfect weight to them and they write like a dream.
@mrlockyer Here's a link... uni-ball Kuru Toga M5-1017 Self-Sharpening Mechanical Pencil. High Grade Premium Edition with Propelling Ultra Strong Diamond Infused Leads for Technical Drawing Writing Arts & Crafts. 0.5mm https://t.co/nQlKDWUUOJ
@mrlockyer A really good mechanical pencil. My favourite is the Kura Toga steel with 0.5mm leads. I'll find a link. I much prefer to write in pencil. And my preferred notebooks are the Leuchtturm A5 dot grid ones with two bookmarks, numbered pages and a pocket at the back.
Classroom supplies in production. 17 wipers for mini whiteboards on a circular 22-stitch knitting machine. Done in a long tube with waste yarn between each. Later I'll close each with crochet and cut away the waste yarn. Saturday fun ๐
