@AutoInfatuation The anti-SUV lackwits are not worth engaging with. You canโt have a good faith conversation with them - one blocked me yesterday for pointing out why customers like them over wagons.
@LewisStanding1@KateFantom@ValkyrieB70 We're headed to the weeds.
My point is simply...
His statement about not being impressive is emotional, politically motivated and essentially ignorant.
The engineering is impressive, even if unreliable.
Thats all. Yet, you can't bring yourself to admit that.
@LewisStanding1@KateFantom@ValkyrieB70 Ahhh, the disgrunteled ex-employee.
Absolutely. Plenty of reasonable arguments can be made regarding the necessity of owning one. EVs too face criticism.
And while I don't wish to get into the weeds of this argument, ultimately, it boils down to supporting freedom of choice.
@LewisStanding1@KateFantom@ValkyrieB70 but we can agree the OP was wrong to say there is absolutley nothing impressive about them? ...because you're a ratonal, reasonable and honest individual who dosen't let political beliefs blind your respect for modern day engineering, right?
@PompTntl@KateFantom@ValkyrieB70 I've done the land rover discovery days, been to the factory and seen the cars assembled from start to finish... Let me tell you. Your testicles will give way before that vehicle reaches its limits. Having said that... the reliablity is appauling of the new JLRs.
