On #EarthDay, whose voices are missing at the table when it comes to #PlanetaryHealth?

At the #PHAM2024 summit last week, I had enlightening conversations with the @acopphe team about placing indigenous peoples, Africans, & youth at the heart of conversations when it comes to #climatechange and much more.

I'm overjoyed to have met @wakigera and the rest of the team @NathanUchtmann @I_Am_Maisoni @matindi_g @alseyeebio in Malaysia last week.

EACOP, like oil exploration in the Niger Delta, possesses the potential for severe environmental damage in East Africa from oil extraction and pipeline construction
This includes oil spills, pollution, habitat destruction, and disruption of local ecosystems.

#StopEACOP Amen.

"A boiling planet"........just how bad will it get...??

Are we so addicted to the wipeout of life itself, that we would rather lose every living thing, than make the right decisions to save everything now, while we still can...??

Have we any understanding of what's at stake..??

Join us @GreenFaith_Afr as we commemorate the #InternationalDayofCleanEnergy in the streets of NAIROBI.
