@Tinners1983HW@AndyatAuto I'm not sure the planet can afford to wait that long. The flooding forecasts for East Anglia by 2050 are shocking. Resource pressures on the central (higher) spine of the UK would ensure. I'd rather us do every possible to avoid that, even if it doesn't quite happen as forecast.
@ken_hobbs@AndyatAuto The momentum is with EV's. The change to EV's has the critical mass required. Not sure we'll make 100% by 2030 tho. And that is down to the government and it's inconsistent approach. The EV transition needs to happen ASAP.
@AlistairCarns Yes. Recent political thinking incrementalism has not worked. I honestly believe it not overstating to say, dramatic action is needed to protect our economy and society. I wish you every success should there be a leadership contest.
@ShamiKalra Not bad for a watch maker ONLY in the top 0.0003% of watchmakers in the world! 😜 Don't doubt yourself Shami. Never. You're doing great. Keep doing what you're doing. Really pleased for you.
@anon_opin Post COVID a lot o lf people stopped indicating and giving way. They now dive into any gap / expect other people to slow down for them. Really selfish behaviour. Driving became far less enjoyable in the last 5 - 6 years.
@graeme_cobb@Tedisiek I have some highly educated, intelligent, grown up friends, doing serious, commercially minded jobs, involving objective, rational analysis, every day. They refuse to drive an EV. They are also climate change denyers. I'm baffled.
@TGE_LDNM Now. Now is enough. The problem is there is always something else. A bigger, house, car, boat or number. Change the paradigm. Not to is masochism. Now is enough. Today.
@graeme_cobb Albeit my reference is a 2 door, I see it as a modern equivalent of a 1960's Ferrari 330 GTC 2+2. And I do take your point about it being the family car of a Ferrari owner.
