Sad to say it might never catch up because it takes a whole ton of money for compute to train these models so whoever has more money has more compute sadly which means these corporations will always have the top models… unless somehow there’s a massive breakthrough in the technology that makes it run faster more efficiently? Not sure…
Doesn’t Elon realize that the existing fabs that produce that stuff have the money to build more capacity but rather not because they can keep prices high and make the same amount of money regardless. They are greedy!
BREAKING: Elon Musk just called the current AI chip price surge "the biggest price jump in anything I've ever seen."
Elon Musk said the production shortfall relative to demand is insane and that much higher production is needed.

@BTV_Cast@Maximum2893 I’m 21, and I’d love a collectors edition I’d pay extra. But sadly they are phasing that out. I love analog records and game discs, I miss those days buying used games or records, when I was little walking into a GameStop. Those days are going away.
I got a whole document of things I need done by Fable 5, once it returns. Hopefully soon! Because I need to ship.
My fastest shipping time last time was with Fable 5, I shipped a solid landing and legal page in literally 2 days! 🔥
Opus can’t ever really make something shippable that quickly.
If the biggest video game in the world can’t do disk distribution anymore, that’s a solid signal for what’s to come with the next generation of consoles… say goodbye to disk drives as we know it.
I wonder if rockstar will keep pushing things more trailers and stuff or just 1 more trailer, pre orders, and then gameplay trailer leading up to launch month, then boom? Or is there gonna be a LOT more in between that? Will press / creators get access? I have some questions… some things seem vague still.
