@w_terrence The DOI was the beginning of the end of slavery. You can’t write “all men are created equal” and have slaves, and the founders knew that. every time the slavery debate came up the DOI was referenced. Everyone has a reason to celebrate the Fourth of July.

That’s when I learned about taxes & especially how they impact the middle class. Parents need to do a better job of raising their kids.

@JonathanTurley How about keeping the iconic name, make the renovations and putting up a plaque that explains what Trump did for it. BTW, there needs to be a budget line at a certain amount of money is allocated every year to the updating/maintaining these types of places.
