hi @sama, could you kindly share an example please? On productivity, you wrote:
"I wrote custom software for the annoying things I have to do frequently, which is great."
@arifhfahim Tbh though even as a b2b guy I feel like his copy has merit. I haven’t learnt yet how to convert serious clients with funny fomo copy. Maybe in the next life?
@GaelBreton What's your approach to clustering when you do it manually? Do you navigate through People Also Ask and Related Searches and extract relevant phrases?
Is this to publish hubs, sub-hubs and spokes to build topical authority?
For this, is it important to reverse-engineer SERPs?
@rudyniche @Charles_SEO where did you get the info that pogo sticking is less important? intuitively it still seems giga important, although realistically there is always going to be users who pogo stick from you webpages (same with competitors, depending on users' preferences)
@rudyniche @Charles_SEO Haven’t heard that one yet but if true, I feel like speculating for no reason:
I think an increasing amount of users open multiple pages in new tab and read bits before selecting a page they think has high EEAT and fulfills their search intent
(New desktop browsing behavior)
@BowTiedWookie@Charles_SEO You can’t compare bounce rate across different types of pages or across industries.
Some pages have an insanely high bounce rate and that’s just normal (also depending on the purpose of the page).
Personally at this point I think it’s a vanity metric with little practical value
@randfish However, if he wants a lot of followers and he doesn’t care who’s following him, isn’t that the easiest way of getting them? cf. “niche website” community
I've got little sleep this week building this:

BIG news, Google is releasing a new site-wide ranking signal targeting unhelpful "search engine-first" content. Yep, it's a site-wide signal, it's weighted, & it's always running. I was able to speak w/Google about the signal & wrote a post w/more info: https://t.co/qRXqaUUtrf
