the bottom line is this

you need to be living in/near NYC or SF right now if you want to be part of this AI boom

every decision in life has a trade off

if you aren't in these cities, you are going to miss out on being part of the biggest technological shift of our generation

and that might not matter to you at all, which is fine

but you can't have your cake and eat it too (aka be part of this wave + make bank, but also have a low COL + work-life balance + WFH)
