Shareholders don't see it that way. I think a big reason why people don't yet see it that way is because the brand issues are difficult for people to understand and measure. It isn't tangible, even though it is very real. The effects of Elon's political actions on Tesla's sales are pervasive and will be enduring - basically everywhere outside of China.

We see it in 10 straight quarters of declining auto prices.

We see it in declining earnings despite increasing regulatory credit sales and surging energy sales.

We see it in declining unit sales despite a much improved Model 3 & CT launch, and much lower prices.

We see it in the shift in brand sentiment among Tesla's core consumer demographics.

Also $TSLA has performed quite well despite earnings and earnings forecasts continuing to trend down. Maybe if $TSLA were at $100 again, some people would lose patience? But probably not. Bc, you know, robots and robotaxis are coming.
