@hubermanlab Strut has started offering peptides (beyond GLP-1s). I know the ‘source’ for peptides is always a tough question, but is there any reason to believe Strut would be better or worse quality than any of the high end med spas that offer them?
I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
@bryan_johnson - I have a health ‘tradeoff’ question that I think you’re uniquely positioned to weigh in on.
- GLP-1s (and the next gen Retatrutide) show great results that seem to go far beyond weight loss (likely because of the weight loss)
- But it seems to be the trend that GLP-1s increase resting heart rate by a few beats per minute
- You’ve pointed out that RHR is an incredibly noteworthy biomarker
So if someone has struggled to lose weight and wants to use GLP-1s to lose ~20 pounds, are the benefits of the drug worth the increase in RHR?
Thank you!
In the era of #ArtificialIntelligence, when human dignity is threatened by new forms of dehumanization, ours is the pressing duty to remain profoundly human. We must lovingly safeguard the grandeur of humanity bestowed upon us and revealed in its fullness in Christ, the splendor of which no machine can ever replace. #MagnificaHumanitas

@hubermanlab Just listened, great episode. One question - sounded like you said adding fat to sugar may lower glycemic index, but above you mention sugar + fat is a bad combo. Did I misunderstand? Thank you!
@paulg@elonmusk Honest question - how do you actually get work done (reply to email, review documents, etc.)? FSD still requires full time supervision (legally) right? I’d love to be all in on FSD, but not sure how much it’ll help make the commute productive yet
@elonmusk@_kaitodev@garrytan@karpathy Honest question, will that really be different than communism? It’ll still be an elite few allocating everyone’s ‘share’
