When the general is losing his most loyal soldiers on the eve of a (tariff) war, the country desperately needs a new general.
@JustinTrudeau—#itstime, long past time to go.
Here is the harsh truth as someone who allocates capital in different parts of the world:
Canada is no longer a compelling place to invest. Hasn’t been for a few years now. As a result, the economic prosperity of Canada will continue to shrink. This is despite an incredibly young, bright, capable and technical workforce that is second to none.
In short, Canada needs more meritocracy and less virtue signaling.
Make Canada Great Again!!
In demanding that veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces not wear their uniforms while observing Remembrance Day, the leaders at this school are disgracing themselves while demeaning the people who protect our country.
Remembrance Day is a day on which we honour those who serve and remember those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. Our veterans were never ashamed to wear their uniforms while protecting Canada and they should never be made to feel ashamed to wear their uniforms today.
If the people behind this decision had a shred of the courage that our veterans have, this cowardly and insulting idea would have been rejected immediately. In the Nova Scotia and Canada I know, our veterans will never be asked to hide who they are.
Saying Lest We Forget is a solemn promise to the fallen, our veterans and those who continue to serve that we will pass our respect and gratitude to the next generation.
The decision makers at Sackville Heights Elementary School have forgotten this sacred obligation.
We're delighted to announce that our 3rd album, 'Still In Love', will be released on 25.01.25 ... 100 days from now !
Our new single Any Time Soon is released today, and available wherever you get your music.
Really can't wait to share these songs with you all 💙

This letter hit me hard...
Every single person you encounter is fighting a battle that you know nothing about.
Your one tiny action can create powerful ripples that extend far beyond yourself.
Create more ripples.
For anyone out there battling in silence, you’re not alone.
Lift someone up this week for no reason at all.
“I hope you win the war you tell no one about.”
As I think of these men who ought to feel so grateful - instead raging and raving at those who have so much less reason for gratitude - I marvel at our human ability to convert happiness to misery. Open the fucking bottle, drink it now, and seize the joy while you can. END
I rarely participate on this platform, but as Steve says: this is spot on. Meanwhile Trudeau and Freeland continue living in their echo chamber… one need look no further for proof than their tone deaf, out of touch response to a major defeat in Toronto—St. Paul's. It’s not just businesses that are fed up, it’s honest, hard working, middle class Canadians that have had enough too.
Similar to many Canadian companies, Strand will be increasing its investments elsewhere. We will still do business in Canada, a place we call home - one we want to be a part of building a better future for - but we will do less of it.
It’s a sad reality but the combination of over taxation, over extraction and over regulation by government are disincentives that have reached intolerable levels.
We need to be doing everything we can to turn Canada into the best place for entrepreneurs to build 🇨🇦
What's proposed in the federal budget will do the complete opposite. Innovators and entrepreneurs will suffer and their success will be penalized -- this is not a wealth tax, it's a tax on innovation and risk taking.
Our policy failures are America's gains. At a time when our country is facing critically low productivity and business investment our political leaders are failing our country's entrepreneurs.
Please start listening to the people in the arena.

It’s nonsensical to finance urban infrastructure for growing cities with targeted taxes on new homeowners who finance these costs with residential mortgages when governments can borrow more economically. Federal & provincial reform is URGENTLY needed. #bcpoli#vanpoli#metrovan
