Medcorder: Everyone Should Understand Their Doctor
@medcorder
Doctors, patients & families all benefit from clarity about what a patient was told. Our free app is the most popular tool for discussing medical encounters.
@w_milczynska I agree that patients need better tools! Which is why I built @medcorder starting in 2018; it is now the top patient-directed medical recording app. Happy to hear more about some of the other unmet needs you see patient-side.
Medcorder iOS 3.6.2 is out with a bunch of fixes and usability improvements! You can tap to share, print, or copy your transcripts and there are clearer warnings that will make it harder to accidentally delete recordings.

@PanickedFoodie@StuckonSW@DrBisetty@dweekly Ah, that's super neat - we would love to make our recordings available to doctors and nurses for their use, but we haven't found an EMR that offers posting of patient-directed recordings to the medical record.
A mobile app, @MedCorder, for patients to record consultations was a feasible, acceptable, and potentially valued intervention that improved decision-making in the #telehealth setting

I love this picture. My mom (right) passed a decade ago from cancer.
Her sister, my aunt Terry, was one of the first users of the @medcorder app after her myeloma diagnosis, which was a motivator for me to go full time on building the solution. Terry passed last weekend.
I just want to give a shout out to https://t.co/1wqKK52j4l @dweekly and all at @medcorder for their wonderful work. Shared it with my 99 year old Aunt who has an upcoming consultation /w Doctor re: surgery to address cancer on her leg. Please share with your loved ones.
Our newly-vaccinated team had our first onsite demo in SF; we sat down with doctors and medical assistants and discussed the future of medical care, patient memory of complex care, and reducing followup call volume. Then we had a team lunch together - 1st time in over a year!

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Mrunalini Parvataneni to our Medical Advisory Board to help us chart a course for better physician and patient outcomes using our technology!
Going all-in on the branding. Absolutely delightful week. We are going to build an empire out of helping doctors and patients make the most out of their time together.
