The river Bolshya /Kamchatka is just amazing and the environment around it is a compliment of the beauty and richness. My time in the river is coming to an end. I feel privileged, full and satisfied by the great fisheries it had offered. My Vision Onki 7wt on a Pacific salmon.

One of the most eventful moments in the river Bolshya.I lost two strong hook ups consecutively before securing this beautiful Rainbow trout, leaped to the surface, showed itself and then took runs that wouldn’t stop for long long time. My vision 9wt performed exceptionally well.

Another one I took in Isla del Coco for #WrasseWednesday today, a pair of Mexican Hogfish (Bodianus diplotaenia) with the male on the foreground. Like other wrasses, they are hermaphrodites, starting their life as females and later changing to males. #ichthyology
