Everyone saw the garbage piling up in Pauri, Uttarakhand. But while many walked past it, two students, Manvi and Anshika, decided to do something about it.
Even when people mocked their efforts, they kept going. Their simple cleanup drive grew into @pauri_eco_warriors, a student-led movement with over 40 members and 15 to 18 volunteers showing up for every cleanup.
And they didn't stop at picking up litter. They started Maulyaar, a community festival featuring environmental runs, plantation drives, cleanups and awareness campaigns.
From cleaning their surroundings to bringing a community together, Manvi and Anshika are showing what civic responsibility looks like in action.

What if the plastic we throw away could be turned into fuel?
That’s the question Hyderabad-based mechanical engineer and professor Satish Kumar has been working on since 2016.
Using a process called plastic pyrolysis, Kumar says his plant has converted more than 50 tonnes of end-of-life plastic into fuel.
The process uses heat in the absence of oxygen to break plastic down into fuel products including petrol, diesel and aviation fuel.
At the time of reporting, his unit was processing around 200 kg of plastic a day and producing about 200 litres of fuel, which was being sold to local industries for around ₹50 per litre.
Kumar mentions that around 500 kg of non-recyclable plastic can produce about 400 liters of fuel. He also said his process does not require water or produce wastewater.
From something we throw away in seconds to something industries can put to use, Kumar’s work offers a striking example of how technology can rethink what we call waste.

🇮🇱Israel salutes the 🇮🇳Indian Pilot who fought back and saved 170 lives.
Captain Smit Machchar was stabbed in the cockpit at 34,000 feet.
The co-pilot from Oman allegedly tried to take control and crash the Flydubai flight heading to Tel Aviv with over 170 people on board including children.
The plane plunged thousands of feet in seconds. Emergency codes went out.
But the Indian captain fought back. Passengers and off-duty crew stormed the cockpit.
They pulled the attacker off him. They helped keep the plane in the air.
It landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Netanyahu just called the people who stopped it “heroes who showed extraordinary courage” and “averted a major catastrophe.”
One man from India stood between 170 lives and disaster.

“This world and all the creatures in it are merely different forms and expressions of the one Supreme Consciousness. Hence, we should treat every aspect of creation, both sentient and insentient, with love, respect, and servitude. This is the vision of this land of Bharat.

🚨 YOUR HEART HAS ITS OWN “LITTLE BRAIN”
Scientists say the human heart contains about 40,000 neurons and sends more signals to the brain than it receives. This powerful heart-brain connection may influence emotions, decisions, stress, and mental clarity in ways researchers are still trying to understand.
Some experts even call the heart a “little brain” because it constantly communicates with the nervous system through electrical signals and hormones. It may explain why certain feelings seem to come from the heart before the mind can fully process them.
The more scientists study this hidden connection… the more mysterious the human body becomes.

Shocking.
Mumbai's richest clubs were happily taking huge membership fees and charging premium prices for food while serving people from dirty kitchens.
1) Cricket Club of India
Cockroaches, flies, expired food, fungus on vegetables, dirty storage, greasy kitchen, poor separation of veg and non veg food.
2) Willingdon Sports Club
Dirty kitchen, blocked drains, unhygienic staff, outdated food and water testing.
3) MIG Cricket Club
Running food operations without a valid FSSAI licence.
4) RK Juhu Gymkhana
Serious hygiene violations.
5) Aparna Juhu Gymkhana
Food safety violations.
Now the biggest question...
What the hell was FSSAI doing all these years?
If Maharashtra FDA under Tukaram Mundhe can expose all this in one drive, then what has FSSAI been doing for years?
The CEO of FSSAI should be replaced if this is how the country's top food regulator works.
Huge respect to Tukaram Mundhe for having the courage to touch powerful clubs instead of protecting them.

Here is a spectacle of grace and beauty in the wilderness that leaves you absolutely spellbound. This extraordinary moment of a tiger admiring butterflies, captured by the maverick @shaazjung, reveals a tender side of life in India’s magnificent forests. Far from the drama of the hunt, a tiger spends much of its life in stillness, resting, listening, observing and moving through the forest with effortless grace. They are not called “Striped Monks” for nothing. Happy #GlobalTigerDay #TigerDay #Tiger
