I rarely post on here anymore, but I have to say to @PeterTatchell:
It shouldn't take the news that an elderly woman was murdered rather than dying of natural causes to change a post from revelry & name-calling to 'R.I.P. Ann.'
The sheer hypocrisy of that cannot be lost on any person of good character.
This is why so many people - gay, straight and anywhere in between - find your rhetoric misogynist, divisive & hateful. People are allowed hold different opinions. We can disagree with them, we can even judge them, but every life is of value and we all leave loved ones behind.
A little bit of kindness, compassion and, quite honestly, basic human decency can go a long way.
Today the man who has been harassing my family and I since late 2022 was found guilty on 3 counts, I cannot believe it, I am so relieved to finally have someone say ‘yes he did that to you and it was wrong’. I had a panic attack on the stand but took my meds and carried on #done
@JoosyJew@ActofLoveMusic They can multitask though, one person can be a doctor, reporter, UNRWA worker, tunnel digger and murderer all at the same time.
I led the team that prosecuted him & after his conviction expected him to be deported at the end of his sentence - I looked him in the eye & saw not an ounce of remorse - the Home Office need to find a way -it’s what his victims deserve, both the White ones & the South Asian one
HEARTBREAKING: Her 10-month-old baby was cut in half with a knife in front of her, her husband was shot dead, and she watched them split her second child's skull with a machete. They also cut off one of her hands.
This is life for Christians in Nigeria. The media remains silent.
An investigation into the NHS' maternity and neonatal services found "explicit antisemitic attitudes" among staff.
One Jewish person reported that they were told “Jewish people are sneaky," and many laboring women actively hide their Jewish identity because they are afraid of mistreatment.
I shouldn't need to say this, but I will. A woman in the middle of giving birth should not be worried that her midwife will find out she's Jewish and make her and her baby suffer.
And this isn't paranoia. It's not just hateful words. Look up the latest report on the NHS' maternity care; it outlines a "lack of a consistent standard of care." Some women are getting better treatment than others.
Combine that with the antisemitism, and it's not hard to figure out why Jewish women in the UK are scared.
