Quand on a navigué pendant longtemps dans des eaux que l'on connaît bien, et développé une habilité à faire face à ses flots, on en vient à oublier les dangers de la mer lorsqu'on s'aventure dans des eaux inconnues. Et la fureur des tempêtes balancent sur le rivage les débris de notre navire désassemblé. Il faut alors retrouver de la lucidité pour le rebâtir ensemble, survivre au naufrage programmé et poursuivre notre route. Sachant que la foi des matelots en leur capacité à surmonter la turbulence des vagues dépend, non pas du temps qu'il fait, mais de leur capacité à tirer à l’unisson les rames et de leur confiance au capitaine du navire.

When you have sailed for a long time in familiar waters and developed the ability to cope with the waves, you tend to forget the dangers of the sea when you venture into unknown waters. And the fury of the storms tosses the debris of our dismantled ship onto the shore. We must then regain our lucidity to rebuild it together, survive the inevitable shipwreck and continue on our way. Knowing that the sailors' faith in their ability to overcome the turbulence of the waves depends not on the weather, but on their ability to row in unison and their trust in theship's captain.
