This generation is sending a clear message to the old guard: surrender or face the consequences. A new generation is rising, resisting subjugation and oppression. We will reclaim our dignity and freedom, no matter the cost.
Eritrea and its people have endured immense suffering for far too long. It's time for change and healing. @UN

“One of the losses in the last, how many years of national service (NS) is that it was a NS (youth who completed their regular mandatory national service) left thrown on the street after failing their college entrance exams, even the MAMOS program we introduced (supposedly to help them) did not work. And there was no deployment to the military (referring a time where NS were not being deployed to the military – there never was such a time), tens of thousands every year, almost the number of youths left aimlessly idle cannot be underestimated.”
The tyrant is putting the blame on the youth for giving up on an educational system that groom them to be regime slaves for life. And, present his regime as a benevolent actor who cares and try alternative methods to help the youth in education 🙄 making it sound like it is a "No Child Left Behind" program😠
The delusion is stark. It is a display of regime's despise to the Eritrean people. pfdj has set up a conveyor belt that churns out uneducated, unawaken, indoctrinated to militarism & servile obedience youth to subdue and control the people. Ensuring unchecked grip on power in the nation. To do as it feels fit. Not checked by any lawful body and institutions.
Lawlessness is the highest form of corruption, and hence a reflection of total failure in a nation. This is the reason why Eritrea is a failed nation.
The suffering of #DawitIsaak will continue as long as 🇸🇪 does not change its strategy by taking strong measures, such as immediately closing the 🇪🇷’n embassy in Stockholm and ending festivals that are the regime's source of income.#BlueRevolution@MehariMeng53005@MariaStenergard
@FissehaYirgalem from inside the #PFDJ torture chambers:

Nervous Conditions
The prison cell fits my body height
its mud floor serves in lieu of my bed.
Suffocates, sickly atmospheric overwhelming,
like a bad effect of traditional medicine,
hell in the inside, caged by a door in the shape of a serpent’s mouth.
Too much sorrow, I can’t bear.
If anyone would call, “Come with me!”
I wouldn’t want to ask “where?”
But would rather concur
To go along.
Never mind: with Demon or Man.”
This is the reality of #Eritrea under the tyrannical Isaias Afwerki regime. Poets journalists and youth thrown into hell for refusing silence. Six years of torture in Mai Serwa. Indefinite national slavery. Families destroyed. A nation held hostage.
The dictatorial regime fears these words because they ignite resistance. #EBRF #NoMorePFDJTerror #BlueRevolution @KjetilTronvoll@martinplaut@washingtonpost@TheEconomist@dwnews@pressfreedom@DefendDefenders@OsloFF@freedomhouse@PEN_Ertra
Today at the Oslo Freedom Forum, Yirgalem Fisseha speaks not only for herself, but for thousands of #Eritrea|ns whose voices have been silenced by repression.
A journalist, poet, and former political prisoner, Yirgalem endured years of imprisonment, torture, and solitary confinement after being arrested by the Eritrean regime. She was held without trial, denied justice, and subjected to conditions that no human being should ever experience. Despite these attempts to break her spirit, she emerged as a powerful voice for truth, freedom, and human dignity. (https://t.co/6X6hSA094Y)
Her testimony reminds the world of the suffering endured by countless Eritreans who have faced arbitrary detention, forced silence, indefinite national service, and the constant fear of persecution. Many remain imprisoned without charge, while others have been forced to flee their homeland in search of freedom and safety.
By sharing her story at the Oslo Freedom Forum, Yirgalem shines a light on the realities that many Eritreans continue to face. Her courage stands as a testament to the resilience of those who refuse to surrender their humanity in the face of oppression.
May her voice inspire the world to stand with the victims of injustice and support the universal struggle for freedom, human rights, and dignity for all Eritreans. 🇪🇷

A Voice from Eritrea: Yirgalem Fisseha Mebrahtu
Yirgalem Fisseha Mebrahtu is an Eritrean poet, journalist, and former political prisoner who spent years imprisoned for her writings and peaceful criticism of the Eritrean regime.
In this powerful speech, she shares her personal story: growing up in Eritrea, witnessing the loss of freedom, seeing friends and family forced into indefinite military service, and enduring imprisonment and torture because of her poems and stories.
Her testimony reminds us why so many Eritreans risk their lives crossing deserts and seas in search of freedom. It also challenges governments and citizens around the world to understand the realities that force people to flee their homeland.
This is not only Yirgalem's story. It is the story of thousands of Eritreans whose voices are rarely heard.
Please take a few minutes to listen to her speech and share it with others.
"Would you accept a life without freedom to speak, think, travel, or choose your future? What would you do?"

#PFDJ’s gross human rights violations is well documented by the #UN & yet
many #Eritreans remain trapped in denial & silence out of fear of #TransnationalRepression and retaliation against themselves or their families. Truth cannot be suppressed forever, accountability remains essential for #Eritrea’s future. #BlueRevolution #EBRF #RegimeChangelnEritrea
@ErmiLiberty The War in Ethiopia Isn’t Over
How Peace Deals Are Leading to More Violence ?Today more than 15 big military trucks & small military vehicles captured by FANO which are they controlled 85%Amhara states. Afar Tigray Oromo states out of Abi control. Election is only in the Capital
“An old dog can’t learn new tricks change could be the end for him. However, we in #ERRF have developed a solution focused on meaningful regime change.”
35 years after independence, even PIA’s own speech sounds like an admission of failure, he is confirming one thing the old regime has overstayed its time. Eritreans deserve renewal, accountability & real independence not endless excuses.
