Today, we're open sourcing the code behind "The Infinite Crate," our VST/AU plugin that lets you play with Lyria RealTime directly inside your favorite DAW! 🎧🎶
Since we released The Infinite Crate last year, it’s been used by some of our favorite artists - including a wonderful showcase with @daitomanabe in Tokyo - and being featured as a top new music tool at NAMM 2026.
We’re now fully open sourcing the plugin for developers to fork, modify, and make their own under the permissive Apache 2.0 license.

I've always been interested in urban planning. Here's an example of an app created with Gemini 3.1 Pro that can simulate urban planning to design completely new cities.
https://t.co/4xhfrKqwe8 I created a short film using GenAI, this time with extensive use of @runwayml Act-One! I did the performance capture and voice-acting then converted them to various vocals using @elevenlabs
@rikarends Ah glad you liked it! The zoomed in stars were all real estimates positions from European Space Agency’s various star catalogues. The galaxy itself is an artistic rendition.
PRISM stands for Parallel Reality Investigation and Stability Management. This is a short #AIart film using @Hailuo_AI@midjourney and @elevenlabs and edited using open source Kdenlive video editor. I put the storyboard together using FigJam.
⚡️Cool! This is something I've been working at Google DeepMind on for the past ten months. It's been a wild ride, I've been leading engineering, working with amazing designers, and researchers, and I got the chance to work with amazing musicians like @wyclefjean@justin_tranter!!
We’ve also been working on a new version of Music AI Sandbox, an experimental suite of tools to supercharge workflows for musicians, producers and songwriters.
Used as part of the @YouTube Music AI Incubator, it can help sketch songs, brings a multi-track view plus more.
Together with @YouTube, we’ve been building Music AI Sandbox, a suite of AI tools to transform how music can be created. 🎵
To help us design and test them, we’ve been working closely with musicians, songwriters and producers. ↓ #GoogleIO
@flight404 Keen eyes! Unfortunately always going to be off by a frame (at least) because Unreal gets the audio analysis, renders, then SD sees it and generates another frame. It’s possible to get the delay down way less than it currently is, I think.
@ItsTheEnforcer “ren min bi” = “the people’s money”, the official name for the Chinese currency. Normal people call it “yuan” like we say “bucks” in the US. Just like we wouldn’t say “this hot dog costs five US dollars” in normal conversation. Yuan and RMB are the same thing.
