@alvinonyewuenyi Dr. Greene Sr.’s son Clarence Greene Jr., MD is also a Neurosurgeon and is Professor of Neurosurgery at LSU-NO Health Science Center. He was my research mentor this past summer. He is an excellent teacher and mentor to me and I am so thankful to have met him!
@em_wayland As an ER scribe I learned all the secret pillow spots, but some days I was unlucky and had to fashion cushions out of blankets and a pillow cover. I didn’t know this problem was ubiquitous lol😂
(1/9) #Physicalexam#Tweetorial@VCU_IMRes Cardiac auscultation is all about identifying normal from abnormal sounds. Like any skill this takes practice. In 1904 Dr Charles W. Larned published how to “mimic” heart sounds
Here is how to practice without a patient or even a heart!
@MissnsgyMD Hey Doc! I met you at LSU last summer when you were a surgery resident there. Never got the chance to thank you for letting me shadow you! I had so much fun!
I thought this was really interesting to be able to see the perspectives of all of these surgeons in the comments. Another example of social media’s ability to enhance discussion and collaboration in medicine. Cool stuff!
Ergonomic Risk in Operating Surgeons...loupes and headlights were independently associated with high-risk neck positions. I wear loupes less than 5 times per year, but it is hard to give up my headlight. What about you? https://t.co/n5jhsbfNUv
