@jerald@paulg The United States is built on trust by default, it makes interactions flow more seamlessly. You do get burned occasionally, but still worth it long term.
@mattiaswikman@mercury@immad I'll bite too. At this point if a company uses AI for their brand images it signals they don't care about craft. Or at the very least, it lumps you in with a lot of smaller players that don't have the budget to create something memorable.
@paulg@jesslivingston It was in everyone's immediate best interest in that war room to argue for contagion, but there is a cost to this, and a precedent has been set. Side note: Ron is a hell of an asset to have in a situation like this.
@paulg@jesslivingston You're right, he does mention it, my apologies. I was judging his tone from one clip. In the episode, he didn't think moral hazard applied, and I don't agree. He says it was 'common sense' for the FDIC to guarantee the deposits, but it was more complicated than that.
@provisionalidea@sama It reads as if many people told him that trust in the Altman/OpenAI brand has fallen to dangerously low levels, threatening the company. But he’s a robot that doesn’t truly understand what they mean, and it clearly shows in the writing.
@noahkagan Insane how much pushback you’re getting. If you don’t think Robimhood is trash, go look at how they sell trading info from their users to hedge funds.
Red line is the "guide" that the rainbow follows in 3D space. Red dots are handles that can be dragged into different positions. Press "S" when you like something you see and it saves those coordinates. Final assets will probably be small js files?
