Patriarchy affects everyone. Promoting positive masculinity helps men and boys move from being custodians of unequal systems, to becoming champions of equality, shared responsibility and social norms change. We are sustaining engagement with men and boys to #EndFGM#MenEndFGM
As schools close for long holidays, young/adolescent girls are exposed to challenges that affect their SRHR. Some girls rely on schools to access sanitary pads. During our mentorship session at Kibra, we sensitized them on SRHR &distributed pads for use during the holiday period

How is it that a mama mboga cannot put up a small kiosk outside an estate in Nairobi without Kanjo appearing almost immediately to harass her, demand permits or chase her away, yet a massive building can rise floor after floor without the same county machinery stopping it?
Now Governor Johnson Sakaja is trying to distance himself from the Eastleigh building collapse by pointing fingers at developers, engineers, missing construction approvals and weak enforcement laws, as though he is not the man in charge of Nairobi County.
If Kanjo officers can spot a woman selling tomatoes outside an estate gate, how does City Hall fail to stop a multistorey building whose construction plans it claims were never approved, and where exactly were the county enforcement officers as the structure continued rising?
Sakaja must take full political and administrative responsibility for the failures under his watch and stop behaving like an innocent spectator in a county government that he was elected to lead.
The @GNBKenya Youth Advisory Panel joined a training organised by @YouthAntiFGMKe on 16–17 October, covering public speaking, policy engagement, harmful practices and ethical storytelling to strengthen youth-led advocacy to advance girls’rights. #Future4Binti#EndChildMarriage
The Frontline is driving the eradication of FGM in Kenya. And now, there's a new place to follow them.
Take a look: https://t.co/211jAFMUWL
Across Kenya, women, survivors, activists, and local influencers are reaching last-mile communities, breaking the silence on FGM and encouraging collective community-led abandonment.
They're leading Caravan Rallies to communities where over 90% of girls are cut, amplifying the conversation on local media, and challenging a practice that will put millions of girls at risk globally this year. Over half of them are below the age of 5.
Today, we're celebrating their work by launching Frontline Kenya's new website.
It's a place to learn more about the Born Perfect Caravan Rallies and Media Campaigns, see the real change being driven in Kenya - village by village - and explore the Frontline Digital Tool.
Crucially, it's another way to recognise the people who can and are ending FGM - the grassroots.
