SEATTLE CENTER PRESSER:
Sadly, three people have been shot and killed. Multiple people injured including a toddler. They are expected to survive.
One person is in custody and being questioned about the shooting. Another suspect is on the run.
The “dignitaries” were Governor Bob Ferguson and Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. Cops say no cameras were up at Seattle Center. Socialist Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson says she is reassessing the safety plan in the area.
Otherwise, officials say SPD Chief Shon Barnes was out of town.
I’m posting the entire presser right here.
A mass sh—ting occurred at the Bite of Seattle food festival. One food vendor was live-streaming and caught the commotion in the background. An unknown number of victims are known at the moment. https://t.co/5FFcb9VEOT
WA Attorney General Nick Brown: "Washington’s mail-in voting system is highly secure and layered with safeguards. Don't buy into the noise, look for the facts."
Well, we took your advice and looked for the facts.
Look what we found
Vancouver, WA Police can no longer arrest for most misdemeanors, and are already seeing serious charges dismissed. Yes, you heard that right.
This is due to "an unfunded State Supreme Court mandate which reduced caseloads for public defenders, coupled with budgetary constraints at the city level."
By the way; one of the charges dismissed was a Domestic Violence Assault case, which is so serious that a conviction results in the loss of gun rights.
With this "unfunded mandate" now law of the land, expect other Washington state police departments to face a similar unfathomable requirement to let crime go unanswered.

“Los Angeles utility workers are making OVER $700,000 a YEAR.”
Spencer Pratt dug into LADWP payroll records — 100+ employees clearing $500K, some hitting $700K in an $11 BILLION department run by the same political insiders.
This is institutionalized fraud on taxpayers.
MAJOR win for North Seattle residents as the pressure campaign succeeds, and Mayor Katie Wilson finally takes action on the war happening on Aurora Ave N.
All it took were
🔫About 100 gun battles
💵Sex traffickers being busted by the Feds for selling 14yr old kids.
🧱N Seattle residents erecting their own barricades
📺National embarrassment for the city
⚽️World Cup in town
🧑🌾A televised march by N Seattle residents
⚖️City Council threatening to go around the Mayor
🕴️Current and former elected officials demanding action...
But probably the most important thing that it took was;
The local media staying on this story.
And to that, we say "thank you."

Update: That much-hyped newsworthy pallet shelter village is STILL completely empty.
Businesses and staff right next door have no idea what’s going on.
Lots of questions. Zero answers.
Even peers in the space are asking: Are referrals even being accepted?
Hey @elonmusk would you please buy Washington state so we can make it beautiful and free again?
Shouldn’t cost much more than X did, and look what you did there.
Thanks.
"Sound Transit’s failure is not an engineering failure. It is a governance failure.
Sound Transit has become an unaccountable political machine: the same leaders who designed the failing plan, appointed the board, selected the executives, and normalized the overruns are now asking the public for more time, more money, and more trust.
That is the status quo that must be broken."
In a Special OpEd to the Seattle Times;
Scott Kubly (Former Director of Seattle DOT) calls for the dissolving of the current 'Dow centric' Sound Transit Board, to be replaced by people who actually know how to run a $200 Billion transit agency.
(What a concept)

Dr Elisabeth Potter, a plastic surgeon for cancer patients in Texas calls for healthcare reform in America
While in the middle of a surgery, UnitedHealthcare called the Operating Room and made her to exit surgery to justify an overnight stay for her patient
Dr Potter made a social social media video saying out insane this is and UnitedHealthcare threatened her
UnitedHealthcare sent her a 6-page legal letter from a defamation firm. It demanded she:
- Remove the posts and videos
- Issue a public apology
- Retract her statements claiming she lied
- They accused her posts of “fomenting violence” due to angry public comments against insurers
Dr. Potter is pushing for the Speak Free Act legislation to protect healthcare workers from retaliation when they speak out about systemic issues in patient care
We must DEMAND healthcare reform in this country. It’s only going to get worse because of big health insurance carriers
