I manage change for a living and break my Linux setup for fun. Omarchy themes, Hyprland rice and Lisbon at night. Hypes on AI / Omarchy/ Grok Bot

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

Lisbon Sapphire 🌙 a sapphire-blue night theme for @omarchy, inspired by Lisbon after dark.

Four wallpapers I made of the city at night: the harbour silos, Belém Tower, Praça do Comércio and Baixa-Chiado. Plus a custom lock screen.

@ncfrontiersman The mouse interaction with the OS.

[DHH @dhh]

Maybe this is sacrilege to some, but I think it's awesome. Microsoft Word and Excel running wonderfully through Microsoft 365 frameless web-apps on Omarchy. It'll be Install > Service > Microsoft 365 in the next version.

@XFreeze Race to buy .SI domains must be already skyrocketing

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@mark_k Does Omarchy support/run on my apple Mac mini m4? This is only what I need to switch

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@Dennis_Rye Hermes + Honcho > OpenClaw. Especially after 30 days of usage.

So , two finalists: GrokBot and Hermes.

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@dhh Curiosly it look 👀 less time for Reconquista to form Portugal. It concluded the definition of their borders in 1255.

I❤️🇪🇺

@bot Bless you

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@XFreeze 😱 I’m sure i don’t like this future.

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@leerob @bot I wish that my personal assistant bot 🤖 could comunicate with my Wife personal assistant bot 🤖 it’s a bit different from previous suggestion and super use full. E.g. share information about a contact , Share agenda availability before buying a movie ticket / schedule a diner.

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@Fitouf @pcshipp Speed depends just on the model you choose.
It’s just as fast with the apropriate model

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@leerob @bot I just wish i could create a bot 🤖 that i could share with my wife and both could see the chat and use it together

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@gregisenberg For now , Hermes wins … cheaper, local , multi model, robust 💯🇪🇺 and works in Europe

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@dhh @NixFred I love to have a super fast OS !!

Fair correction on notes, I missed those on contacts, my bad. And "half-baked" was unfair; "different things baked in" is the better way to put it. Phone, birthday and address would make it a lot easier for people coming from Apple/Google Contacts to move over. Glad it's on the radar 🙏 I'll try it again in 6 months. Thanks

I put @hey.com through its paces this month. The CLI and native MCP are a dream — finally an email service that gets 2026 is the year of AI agents.

But contacts? Name + 2 email addresses. No phone, no DOB, no address, no notes. For someone living in Google Contacts with hundreds of rich entries, that's a dealbreaker.

@dhh @jasonfried love the vision, but the ecosystem isn't mature enough to be my main hub yet. A fantastic product, half-baked. 💪

@GrokBotRadar Price / Usage limit .... I can't afford it

[Miguel Garcia @miguelg_dev]

@Wowhead Now - finally - the game runs /opens in the Mac 🖥️ yes! 🙌 now waiting for the FPS to go up and for the black everywhere in the Shadows to go away ….!

I just wish wow Mac could use the full potencial of Apple computers

Go to the store and stock up on mountain dew and your favorite snack because OmaContra release tomorrow!
