Let’s pump the brakes. I don’t mean this as a knock on Mara, but comparing them to Lockheed is the equivalent of comparing making it the top of the McDonald’s playscape to completing the Seven Summits.
Giving them credit for Auradine’s patent becuase they’re a large shareholder and have a board seat is the same as giving John Doerr(who I’m a huge fan of) credit for the inventions of Google (70k granted and 80k+ in flight).
In fact, Mara was probably closer to Lockheed in the twenty-teens before they divested/de-emphasized their IP portfolio to go asset-heavy.
Another week well spent with amazing bitcoiners. It was an absolute pleasure to attend TEMS and Bitcoin++ in Austin.
Super bullish on @256FOUNDATION@bitcoinpark_ and their open source mining initiatives.
Thank you @bitkite and all involved.
See you at The Space next 🫡

TL;DR you'll want to be at the Mining & Open Source Stages
@orenyomtov@web3_lord So I suppose UTXO splitting is relative - it depends on how large/small chunks you want to split them into, but I think they're going to need to be much larger than people think.
@orenyomtov@web3_lord The counter to UTXO splitting is that if people really want to get into blocks at or near 840,000 and fee rates are in the 10's of thousands of sats/vB, then UTXOs <1M will temporarily be dust and will cost you more sats than they contain to spend them.
