The sun was shining brightly at the Kansas City Airport Thursday morning as Mayor Quinton Lucas announced that the 816 Consortium, a team of local businesses, was selected to develop solar at the airport. At the news conference, Evergy CEO David Campbell represented the 816 Consortium, which includes Evergy, Burns & McDonnell, Herzog and Savion, all based in the 816 area code.

Plans include breaking ground on an initial 30 MW phase followed by a larger array. Mayor Lucas said the array, which will likely include more than 70,000 solar panels, will continue Kansas City’s work to be a leader in climate resiliency and to reach their goal of reducing carbon emissions by 40 percent by 2030.

I'm studying on my own, and I have a number of colleagues also pursuing their CSSP, so I wanted to double check thx.

@BenMalisow @gr8security @Sybex Much obliged - was curious if you could cite the ASHRAE guidance that was relevant to the written labs regarding backups - generators were identified as beyond the scope of the 2016 ASHRAE white paper that was referenced in the section on monitoring.
