A proud milestone was marked at Rajput Regimental Centre, #Fatehgarh, as the ‘Kasam’ Parade of Agniveer Batch 07/25 witnessed 968 Agniveers take the solemn oath after successfully completing 24 weeks of rigorous military training.

Conducted in a combatised format, the parade reflected the Indian Army’s focused thrust towards operational readiness and realistic training. The immaculate drill, battlefield bearing and resolute spirit of the young soldiers symbolised their transformation into physically robust, technically proficient and battle-ready warriors of the famed #RajputRegiment.

The Agniveers, shaped through discipline, endurance and unwavering commitment, now stand ready to serve the Nation with pride, honour and courage.

The Commandant, Rajput Regimental Centre, congratulated the young soldiers and exhorted them to uphold the glorious traditions of the #IndianArmy while remaining steadfast in the service of the Nation. On the solemn occasion, #GauravPadaks were presented to proud parents, acknowledging their values, sacrifices and encouragement in guiding their sons towards a life of honour, duty and national service.

Deeply grieved by the passing of Shri B N Sharma ,Inspector General, BSF( Retd) - a distinguished officer and a true sentinel of the nation. His life's work was marked by exceptional valour ,steadfast integrity and an unyielding devotion to duty.He was a true stalwart whose life embodied courage , discipline and a unwavering sense of duty to the nation.
Throughout his years of service, he embodied the finest traditions of Border Security Force and illuminated path for generations of those in uniform , embodying the highest ideals of service and sacrifice.
Even in retirement, his legacy remained one of the dedication and a purpose - a guiding light for future generations of officers' who will look to his life as a benchmark of honour to the nation and entire BSF fraternity.
We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and in this hour of grief , we remember with profound respect a life lived in the highest service of the nation. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace.

सरकार एक कानून लेकर आई, उसे जल्दबाज़ी में पास किया गया, और अब उसे उनके ऊपर थोप दिया गया है। पहले डिप्यूटेशन केवल आईजी स्तर तक सीमित था, लेकिन अब डीआईजी, सीओ हर स्तर पर डिप्यूटेशन बढ़ाया जा रहा है। आपके दिए गए आदेशों का पालन कहीं दिखाई नहीं देता, बल्कि उनकी खुली अवहेलना हो रही है। माननीय न्यायालय, क्या आज आप अपने ही रक्षकों की रक्षा करेंगे?
पूरा सीएपीएफ आज आपकी ओर उम्मीद से देख रहा है। क्या आप उस उम्मीद को पूरा करेंगे? क्या आप आज हमारी मान रखेंगे? क्या आप एक संरक्षक (guardian) की तरह हमारे साथ खड़े होंगे?
आज इस देश के सैनिक जिन्होंने अनगिनत कुर्बानियाँ दी हैं अपना मनोबल खोते जा रहे हैं। वे आपकी ओर देख रहे हैं, न्याय की उम्मीद में।

#Paramilitary के जवानों और अधिकारियों को वे अब आश्वासन की कौन सी "घुट्टी" पिलाएंगे?
आपने #सीएपीएफ के जवानों की जायज़ मांगे तो सुनी ही नहीं! आपने उनके हक की आवाज़ पर ध्यान दिया ही नहीं! उनके पत्नी बच्चे सड़क पर उतर कर गुहार लगाते रहे लेकिन आपने अपनी मनमानी की और जवानों–अधिकारियों की मर्जी के खिलाफ बिल पास कर दिया .
तो ये बताइए @narendramodi जी, @AmitShah जी कि इस सम्मेलन में आप जवानों के मनोबल को ऊंचा बनाए रखने के लिए, उनके सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए अब क्या "दिलासा" देंगे? बलों के भीतर बढ़ते असंतोष को देखते हुए किन योजनाओं का "मरहम" लगाएंगे?
शायद आप आवास संतुष्टि स्तर को बढ़ाने का वादा कर दें. या ड्यूटी के दौरान जान गंवाने वाले जवानों/अधिकारियों के परिवारों के लिए मुआवजे की राशि और बीमा सुरक्षा में वृद्धि की घोषणा कर दें.
पर उससे क्या?
आपने तो नए कानून में #IG और #ADG जैसे शीर्ष पदों पर #IPS अधिकारियों का वर्चस्व कानूनी रूप से पक्का कर दिया गया है, जिससे कैडर अधिकारियों की तरक्की के रास्ते बेहद सीमित हो गए हैं. आगे बढ़ने की उम्मीद ही खत्म हो गई है!
इनकी पुरानी पेंशन योजना की बहाली, "शहीद" का दर्जा वगैरह तो आपके एजेंडा में ही नहीं है.
मोदी जी, अर्धसैनिक बलों के जवानों और उनके परिवारों का भरोसा जीतने के लिए केवल भाषण काफी नहीं होंगे. जब तक पुरानी पेंशन, समयबद्ध पदोन्नति और कैडर स्वायत्तता जैसे बुनियादी मुद्दों पर ठोस कार्रवाई जमीन पर नहीं दिखती, तब तक "आंतरिक सुरक्षा" की बातें जवानों के लिए भी केवल सरकारी औपचारिकता बनकर रह सकती हैं.

Yes, completely agree..
The upper age limit for UPSC CAPF AC is 25 years whereas 32 years for CSE (Earlier it was 30 years).
CAPF officers require tough physical strength and mental robustness along with decent intellectual acumen which is effectively judged by the examination pattern so designed.
I opted for CAPF because I loved such an adventurous and challenging life. The Government of India appointed me as a Group A officer that's why I preferred it over State Group B service which I got in a very first attempt without any coaching or serious preparation.
The present issue was never against any service.
It was simply a fight for the right which was given to almost all Group A services, whether selected through CSE or otherwise, except 5 CAPFs.
Officers like me were simply asking for the pay parity which has been systematically denied since 2009, when all other departments implemented the recommendations of the 6th CPC.
I always avoided writing anything on social media or at public platforms on this matter but I have been badly hurt by the stand taken by my own government and the statements from the people of civil society like you, so at the cost of any action against me by the government, I'm responding to your tweet (for the first & last time) @imlodhi that please have some respect to the officers of CAPFs who have volunteered to serve the nation at the cost of their own life, not because they were unemployed.
You have done good research on this issue, please also do one research about the calibre and professional qualifications of the officers recruited as Group A in these organisations.
The government through UPSC advertised Group A entry here so please don't compare with state DySPs, who are a feeder cadre to IPS, whereas we are not feeder cadre to IPS. Our Cadre was first raised in 1961 and trained along with IPS probationers at CPTC Mount Abu, later on shifting of the CPTC to Hyderabad as SVPNPA we got that academy with the name Internal Security Academy (ISA).
Our aspirations are very limited and never compared with IPS. I have many good friends in IPS and also good family relations with so many seniors. But when the system starts discrimination against any particular service it hurts, it hurts more when you have devoted your 100% to a service where leave promotions, no one is ready to give you a fair and reasonable financial parity, in spite of clear Government orders, cabinet approval and Supreme court judgement, it is unfortunate.
As per NFFU scheme being a 2005 batch officer I should have been given NFSG in 2018 and SAG (IG level pay) in 2023, which is being enjoyed by the officers of 57 other Group A services whereas I am struggling and battling for even NFSG in 2026, which is even given to ancillary Cadres of CAPFs which are neither selected through CSE nor through UPSC.
What to say???
A very demoralising state of affairs for the hardworking and dedicated officers.
One more thing, I would like to add- I appeared for the CSE once before joining the CAPF, that too without any coaching or proper guidance, cleared prelims and scored 972 in mains, just on the basis of preparation of State PSC (Rajasthan) marginally missed for the interview, that was my very first attempt and I never appeared again for any CSE or other exams in spite of having multiple chances left.
Second thing, please read CRPF Recruitment Rules which are already providing 33.33% ADG quota to CRPF Cadre, CRPF officers are getting the post of ADG since 2009.
This bill has been poorly drafted, if I would have been given the opportunity, I would have prepared much better draft which has definitely satisfied all stakeholders be it MHA, IPS or CAPFs.
Government is free to decide posting at the level of ADG, SDG and DG without any restriction or guidelines from the supreme court, it has simply directed to frame the RR, SR as per OGAS norms and cadre review within 6 months, which timeline has already lapsed. No bill/Act required to implement it

आज डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी की जयंती पर उन्हें कोटि-कोटि नमन।
यह केवल स्मरण का दिन नहीं—यह उस चेतना को याद करने का दिन है, जिसने तीन वर्षों के कठिन परिश्रम से एक ऐसा संविधान गढ़ा, जिसमें न्याय सर्वोपरि हो, और विधायिका, कार्यपालिका तथा न्यायपालिका संतुलन बनाकर लोकतंत्र को जीवित रखें।
लेकिन आज जो हो रहा है, वह केवल विचलन नहीं—
“यह केवल गलती नहीं… यह न्याय की सुनियोजित हत्या है।”
जब सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा दिए गए न्याय को ही कानून बनाकर अन्याय में बदल दिया जाता है, तो यह संविधान की आत्मा पर निर्मम प्रहार है।
CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces—CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, CISF) से जुड़े हालिया कानूनों में यही सच्चाई दिखती है—जहाँ बलिदानियों के सम्मान और स्वाभिमान को निर्दयता से कुचल दिया गया है।
“जहाँ विधायिका सीमा लांघे, कार्यपालिका मौन रहे और न्यायपालिका को निष्प्रभावी किया जाए—वहीं से लोकतंत्र कमजोर होना शुरू होता है।”
जैसा कि मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम भगवान राम के भाव में झलकता है—
कुछ घटनाएँ भविष्य को दिशा देने के लिए घटती हैं…
जैसे रावण ने माता सीता का हरण कर धर्म, मर्यादा और न्याय को ललकारा था—
वैसे ही जब-जब न्याय का हरण होता है, समय स्वयं उसका उत्तर देता है।
और चौथा स्तंभ—मीडिया—
आज उसकी चुप्पी सबसे बड़ा प्रश्न है।
राजघाट पर वीरांगनाएँ अपने दुधमुँहे बच्चों के साथ न्याय की गुहार लगाती रहीं…
लेकिन मुख्यधारा का मीडिया मौन रहा।
“जो सच दिखाने के लिए बना था, वही आज सच से मुँह मोड़ रहा है।”
“मीडिया की चुप्पी, अन्याय की सबसे बड़ी ताकत बन गई है।”
इतिहास जब लिखा जाएगा, तो यह कलंक दर्ज होगा—
कि जब देश के बलिदानियों को सबसे अधिक आवाज़ की आवश्यकता थी, तब प्रेस ने डर, लालच और दबाव में सत्य को दबा दिया।
बंद कमरों में बैठकर लिखे गए आदेश ज़मीन की पीड़ा को नहीं देख पाते—
लेकिन समय बदल रहा है… अब देश देख रहा है, समझ रहा है।
सत्ता पक्ष को एक विनम्र लेकिन स्पष्ट सुझाव—
केवल बड़े-बड़े समारोह कर लेने से डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि नहीं दी जा सकती।
एक ओर श्रद्धांजलि का प्रदर्शन, और दूसरी ओर उनके सिद्धांतों को कुचलना—
यह उनके विचारों की हत्या है, यह दोहरे आचरण का सबसे निंदनीय और शर्मनाक उदाहरण है।
“जहाँ न्याय समाप्त होता है, वहीं सत्ता का पतन प्रारंभ हो जाता है।”
सद्बुद्धि जागे, विवेक जागृत हो, न्याय पुनः स्थापित हो और संविधान की आत्मा सुरक्षित रहे।
अन्यथा अन्याय किसी भी रूप में हो, कहीं भी हो—उसका विनाश तय है, चाहे वह सत्ता में हो या कानून में।
बस समय की बात है… धैर्य बनाए रखिए।
निराशा के इस क्षण में भी याद रखिए—
“सत्य कभी पराजित नहीं होता, न्याय कभी समाप्त नहीं होता।”
संविधान कागज़ पर नहीं, आचरण में जीवित रहता है।
और जब आचरण का पतन होता है, तो लोकतंत्र भी डगमगाता है…
और जब लोकतंत्र डगमगाता है, तो अंततः कुछ भी शेष नहीं रहता।
इसलिए—
न्याय की रक्षा करो।
संविधान की रक्षा करो।
लोकतंत्र की रक्षा करो।
क्योंकि लोकतंत्र ही देश के विकास की सबसे बड़ी गारंटी है।
अडिग रहिए… अटल रहिए…
न्याय रुकेगा नहीं… न्याय झुकेगा नहीं…
अंततः न्याय ही विजयी होगा और न्याय की सत्ता ही स्थापित होगी।
जब तक है दम—राष्ट्र प्रथम।
जब तक हैं हम—राष्ट्र प्रथम।

Dear Sh Brijlal Sir, you are name in UP in handling Law/Order with iron fist. You were DGP & now MP in Upper House. You also worked as IG in RPF & contributed by coordination liason with SP/DM. It’s surely matter of pride but today RPF is without any IPS/IG and RPFS officers are doing the job. True, in early years minuscule % of IPS served as Coy Cdr, Dy Comdt, Comdt in CAPFs ( because Cader was growing in rank & profile in new Org. No cader Officer was CO or DIG) therefore IPS officers worked as AC,DC,CO as their Seniors were either IPS or State Police Comdt or Army Officers. Contrary to that, CAPFs have currently 118 posts in DIG rank for IPS but approx 80 posts are unfilled. Answer lies 👉🏻Mostly DIG level Hqrs are in very difficult areas & also why a SUPERIOR DIG will work in CAPFs where 50% IsG are fm Cader ? It’s not proper for him to be posted under a Cader IG. Pl look into past ( example of BSF). Cader officers became CO or DIG very late. AC ( DE) Spclly became Comdt in 1990, DIG 1998, IG in 2003 & 1 ADG in 2009. Reg superiority, we select the BEST suited for specific jobs through comparative Exams. All candidates apply for IAS but only few get it. So number of papers can’t determine superior or inferior jobs. A warrior General saviour of the nation may not be academically as brilliant as a Scientist. So he can’t be less SUPERIOR

It is extremely unfair to CAPF officers . They have every right to go to the top.
Supreme Court therefore gave decision in their favour . Coordination logic is bunkum. It is the States which seek CAPF forces ...& the onus is on DGs to coordinate with CAPF for deployment.

One question ....how do DGs coordinate with Army . Army does not have IPS officers 😊
