One of my professors stopped putting pdfs of articles in the class Canvas. She explained that “because we’re reading scholarship of marginalized thinkers, it helps them to have their work searched and downloaded.” 🤯
Early voting starts tomorrow & Murdoch’s papers are in full campaign mode.
Today’s coverage included 33 articles favouring the Liberals/opposing Labor; 25 neutral; 8 favouring Labor/opposing the Liberals.
We deserve better than bias dressed up as news!

3/ we hypothesize that the inflammatory (or hyperactive immune state) of kidney failure may contribute to why these individuals are more likely to reactivate. This may assist in develop immune based treatments to prevent active TB in these people.
Excited to share our article published yesterday in @ClinTransImmuno on my project on inflammation in people with kidney disease and tuberculosis that I worked on while at @TheDohertyInst and @AmyWChung lab! Great to be able to share it open access! https://t.co/SP1hFzUQa9
2/ we found a few key inflammatory antibody and cell profiles in the people with kidney disease that are similar to those found in people with active TB
I’m new to ocean swimming and just signed up to #piertopub! Do you have any good beginner routes along our Vic coastlines @gdtoogood ? https://t.co/YMxbZJcmC6
So do you really think you'll get a bed if you're sick which hasn't been taken up by someone with COVID? The current funding agreement is not fit for purpose in "Living with COVID" world. Health ministers are genuinely scared - its unsustainable and there will be adverse results
As Australia looks to implement a booster program, evidence shows a third dose of Pfizer or Moderna results in an equivalent or superior antibody response against #COVID19: ‘That’s really reassuring,’ @ProfDaleGodfrey told #newsGP.

Twitter’s not the place for this conversation. If you’re reading this, you’re probably all too aware of the local vaccine sites and daily infection numbers in your postcode. Maybe your cousin isn’t, though, and maybe your aunt is still waiting for something she can’t quite name.
Our healthcare workers are already under the pump, bed-blocked hospitals with full ED's. As @MargaretHellard put it, every little thing we can do to reduce COVID spread will offload extra pressure on our healthcare system as we re-open.
Professor @MargaretHellard says our health system will be under stress over next few months.
"Individually, we can do small things, and collectively we can work together and support each other to get through the next four to eight weeks, to help relieve the pressure."
So mum said she got some help from the neighbours to dog proof the fence today…and she sent me this! ❤️💙🐶🐶 LOVE IT goooo DOGGIES!!! Wish I could watch the game with her next week! @westernbulldogs#westernbulldogs
@MJA_Editor Thanks for sharing, reminds me of holding “ikigai”, a life worth living:
“cohort study with 43, 391 adults in Ohsaki, Japan, lack of the sense of “life worth living” (ikigai) was significantly associated with higher risk of all-cause mortality over time.”
