THE PROMISED LAND OF POVERTY, IGNORANCE, AND DISEASE

Sadly, we neither pause to reflect nor question our condition.

We have become like a headless chicken so accustomed to ignorance that ignorance itself has become deeply rooted in our thinking.

The fundamental problem facing this country is not grants , a lack of Foreign aid, nor the abundance of economic, social, and political cooperation agreements. The real problem is ACCOUNTABILITY .

If God has blessed us with Vas fertile land suitable for all sort of Agriculture,livestock keeping Horricukture industries, vast freshwater lakes, Ocen,Major strategic Ports both lake and see, abundant rivers, mineral wealth, natural forests, wildlife reserves, and a sufficient population and almost 8 Landlocked Neighbour, yet we remain over burdened by poverty, ignorance, and disease, can we honestly believe that sophisticated polotical bilateral agreements alone will bring about our Social and economic liberation?

Indeed, if there is one thing we seem to have mastered with remarkable consistency and precision it is not the prudent management of our abundant resources, nor the delivery of justice, development, and equal opportunity for all.

Rather, ironically afyer nore than 60 years of Independence we have become disturbingly proficient in abductions, corruption, deception, intimidation, fraud, negligence, tribalism, superstition, and religious sectarianism.

Without overstating the matter, would it be unfair to say that we have turned our nation into a haven for the Devil?

These vices have become so entrenched that they threaten to define us more than our immense potential and blessings.

A nation cannot prosper when wrongdoing is tolerated, normalized, or rewarded.

No amount of slogans, strategies, infrastructure projects, or international agreements can substitute for a culture founded upon truth, justice, accountability, integrity, and respect for human dignity.

Truth, Justice, and Accountability are the only genuine foundations upon which our nation can heal, rebuild trust, and return to the path of becoming a truly prosperous and promised land.
