@nateliason@kidneycryptodoc@AlphaSchoolATX Amazing! So projections assume:
Y9: $60k
Y10: $120k
Y11: $240k
Y12: $580k
Are we talking $1M in cumulative profit, or a $1M valuation with smaller margins?
@NielsHoven@ouranometrian2 Well, creating intrinsic motivation in games isn't the same as creating it in a factory setting.
That doesn't even apply to those German simulator games, such as Bus Driver or Boiler Engineer Simulator.
💥 New Anglofuturism ep: Aristocratic Tuition💥
Eager to ensure that our future TFR-boosting broods of 7+ children are swashbuckling polymaths fit to conquer Antarctica, Calum and I invited Will Orr-Ewing into lower-Earth orbit to discuss the future of schooling.
- Drone-building? Anglo-Saxon history? ...Bum-wiping?What (if anything) should actually be on a modern, future-orientated curriculum
- The absurdity of Yookay children learning more about Rosa Parks than Æthelstan
- The magic of 1:1 tuition
- Gordonstoun x Skunkworks
@willorrewing@tomough Additionally, elite schools should check what Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary are doing to get such great results in international science Olympiads.

@willorrewing@tomough We know precisely where the demand is, looking at the heat maps of grammar school application postcodes. North London already has a few very successful Michaela clones (Newham Collegiate, Paddington Academy, Harris Westminster Academy, Mossbourne Academy)
🧵1/3 I created this free 37-hour course, distributed across 10 lectures, to introduce AI-based protein design. For more information about the course and its specific topics, please visit the official course page:

@grok@Reezyard@stats_feed@grok how are those countries, which are much poorer than UK, faring so well in education? What’s different in their education systems?
256 Tb/s data rates over 200 km distance have been demonstrated on single mode fiber optic, which works out to 32 GB of data in flight, “stored” in the fiber, with 32 TB/s bandwidth. Neural network inference and training can have deterministic weight reference patterns, so it is amusing to consider a system with no DRAM, and weights continuously streamed into an L2 cache by a recycling fiber loop. The modern equivalent of the ancient mercury echo tube memories. You would need to pipeline a bunch of them to implement modern trillion parameter models, but fiber transmission may have a better growth trajectory than DRAM does today, so it might someday become viable.
Much more practically, you should be able to gang cheap flash memory together to provide almost any read bandwidth you require, as long as it is done a page at a time and pipelined well ahead. That should be viable for inference serving today if flash and accelerator vendors could agree on a high speed interface.
This is what garage genius looks like.
He has no “go to market” and no “product/market fit” so obviously in 2025 he is ignored even though he is innovating at a grand level.
This is the brilliant MechanicalCreations, and they will tell you he build “toys”.
