@LynAldenContact@MichaelAArouet That is great news if you are a theoretical migratory sauropod who wants to live in the Arctic. Not such great news if you are an incarnated, timebound, sedentary human being whose life depends on fragile modern supply chains.
@PaulAndreola@PaulAndreola, I'm not sure I follow...all things being equal, isn't the 52-week high a relatively "bad" time, capital-allocation-wise, for a stock to do buybacks, especially if the company is trying to grow?
@mavix_leon Hey Mavix,
I still have this stock. Shouldn't the price eventually get to the full tender offer of $6.30? In other words, aren't they buying all the stock automatically? (This is my first time being "bought out.") Thank you.
@hcapinvesting @NestBetter @ragingbullcap I don't yet fully understand the differentiated competitive advantage. What are they doing/offering that won't be competitively arbitraged by other water treatment companies? What specific aspect of their approach most impresses you?
@greentardscycle If so, my concern would be "what happens if that complete cure rate doesn't improve over current alternatives?" I can see why the company would prefer a maintenance style dosage, but surely most patients would prefer complete cure for this chronic condition, no?
@greentardscycle Forgive my naivety here, but am I understanding correctly that the complete cure rate is currently lower in scientific studies but that the company is essentially guessing/hoping that a maintenance approach will result in higher complete cure?
@LionCubsFund Thank you for the reply. I agree the improving ROIC and margins are a good sign--and, like you, I'm generally drawn to smaller stocks w/more dramatic opportunity for growth. I'll have to look at their 10Ks to better understand their respective tech edge (if any). Happy returns.
@LionCubsFund Of all the names here, Axcelis is the most interesting to me. I don't see much coverage of them (on Twitter or elsewhere).
Would you care to share your thesis for their growth?
What longterm advantage do you think they have over competitors like $AMAT?
Thank you!
@InvestInAssets Hi there. I'm having a hard time finding brokers that allow access to the Helsinki exchange. Could I ask which brokerage you are using to trade on that market?
