The cloud events this week reminded me of this sticker.

As security professionals, we didn't trust moving enterprise workloads to the "cloud" until about 2011-12 when vendors were finally able to satisfy that their security controls were just as good as our own data centres and infrastructure compared to a shared cloud infrastructure.
