At a time when high-concept thrillers and masala entertainers dominate the marquee, #TanviTheGreat brings back the magic of pure, emotionally driven storytelling.

While the narrative keeps you engaged and emotionally invested for the most part, the goings-on do get slow-paced and stretched in the post-interval portions... A crisper narrative would've only enhanced the impact.

#AnupamKher's direction is a revelation – sensitive, assured, and controlled... He extracts solid performances without letting the emotional quotient slip into melodrama... The dialogues are meaningful and heartfelt... #MMKeeravani's soundtrack is melodic, though the film could've done without a song or two.

#Shubhangi, who plays #Tanvi, is the soul of the film... She delivers a wonderful performance that stays with you.

The ensemble cast – #JackieShroff, #ArvindSwami, #BomanIrani, #PallaviJoshi, #KaranTacker, #Nasser, and #AnupamKher – delivers with conviction.
