A lot of people say ontological when they probably mean ontic, and a lot of people say epistemological when they probably mean epistemic. Makes you think.
Back in my day (grad school —2013) they assigned us prompts for our comprehensive exams. The exams were, if I recall correctly, 3-4 hours. You would get assigned a computer not connected to the internet while proctor looked over your shoulder. I wrote 26 pages. Passed.
I open this damn app and look at my timeline, and I feel my IQ dropping and my blood boiling, and yet I keep opening it again every day like some masochistic freak.
Actually instead of telling people to exercise, just tell them to become charitable, start volunteering. Or tell them to have a better romantic relationship and improve their education. Just tell them what they need to do. They probably haven’t heard this yet. Maybe a haircut.

scientists are among the worst people to talk to about science because they just have totally uncritical views on what’s going on. they’re like athletes who thank god and when asked talk about how they do it they say they try just to hit the ball
