Ahead of our sixth form open evening tomorrow, check out what our students have to say about Montsaye Sixth Form. Come and have a chat with the team between 4.30pm and 7pm tomorrow evening to find out more reasons to choose Montsaye. #TheNewMontsayeWay
@MrBMaths3@mathsjem@blatherwick_sam@Arithmaticks Mathsbot has refreshable fill in the blanks ratio tables where you can set the difficulty. I used this a lot before introducing the context and worked well.
For any English teachers looking for a second in department role and who want to join what is already shaping up to be an incredible school improvement journey, let me know!
If your school’s behaviour management policy requires you to
a) Be a child psychologist
b) Stop everything to focus constantly on one child out of thirty
c) Be telepathically intuitive and magically persuasive
d) Accept rude or unsafe behaviour
e) Stop and think hard about the exact, complex next step…
Then it’s not a behaviour policy, but a misbehaviour policy, because it creates an environment where misbehaviour is more likely. It’s also a quit-switch for staff who are human beings, not sorcerers.
@MrsMoEnglish1 I use the drafts in my email to jot down what I'm doing each day. I've never been able to keep track of a physical planner and this is the one thing I've stuck to!
@Positivteacha Thank you for this. Just had a very good conversation with my 11 year old niece after she said 'be more sigma'. Think it's being widely used in primary schools without any knowledge.
For any maths teachers wanting to brush up on their subject knowledge, you should definitely check out the @1stclassmaths website.
I am literally just ticking off each GCSE revision section at a time and watching the attached videos if needed.
