Plenty of people's circumstances would beg to differ. Let’s nail the basics—sleep, exercise, and a whole food diet—before focusing on things like 'grounding.'

With school, we often ask why do I need to learn X...I'm never going to use that.
But we miss the point.
School is like sports training: The general sets the stage for the specific.
We've got to build capacity, before we exploit and refine our skills.
@RenoDrew@NBTiller I've seen this as well. Most athletes it's pretty simple fixes, but for a rare few it's almost psycho-social with a wall at some distance.
@DxRxEdu @tony_breu This makes so much sense for me. Had a partial tear gone full tear of meniscus in Jan 2023. First gout flare in Sept 2023 but feel like the tophi progressed with OA. Just had a UKA but also been on allo to get UA to less than 5 mg/dL. Will I need to continue with the allo?
@stevemagness I also think if you compared there relative amounts to the distance a marathon training program. Would not look to different. It's not apples to apples but interesting food for thought.
For the longevity people who are hyping Vo2max:
If you care about longevity, don't focus on raising your Vo2max.
Focus on improving your endurance performance. Choose a distance (5k,10k, half marathon, marathon). Get better at that.
That will help you more.
The path of an athlete is not linear. It’s a journey of constant evolution, where the only opponent worth beating is the person you were yesterday.
Champions understand, in the end, true success is not just about what you achieve, but who you become in the process.
