The dichotomy between federal and state cannabis laws continues into what is now the 6th presidential administration, 3 Democratic (Clinton, Obama, Biden) and 3 Republican (Bush, 2x Trump).

Its been over a decade now since Colorado introduced the nation’s first recreational use market. The economic benefits that have materialized from the progression of state-regulated markets can no longer be ignored. Importantly, the industry employs over 450K hardworking Americans, who deserve the same opportunities, rights, and protections as those in other industries. This can be achieved with common-sense reform supported by US Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez – DeRemer, (R-OR), who, as a Republican, is a proponent of The States 2.0 Act and SAFE Banking, while recognizing the importance of creating a safe and professional environment for the cannabis workforce.

Public safety through common-sense reform resonates with voters.

@MitchellOsak @TheDalesReport @JavierHasse you may be overthinking this - it’s a hypothetical comparison / estimate and it’s by no means precise — as we all know there are still so many unknowns - digging into this level of detail i.e. GMP cert etc seems a bit premature in the context of this analysis imho .

Several other countries are EXPORTING Federally legal medical #cannabis products to meet the growing global demand.

Why not America? American exports of Beer, Wine, Tobacco and Pharma are illustrated in the following table. The American cannabis market could increase by $10B+, leading to even MORE AMERICAN JOBS and more American tax receipts, assuming just 10% of domestic sales are exported.
