Traffic officers are not Money collectors on the road. Let them do there job. Even these buses that take children to school are overloaded @PoliceUg@HonByamukama@MoWT_Uganda @
From a utilitarian perspective, causing the preventable deaths of around 100 people creates substantially greater overall harm.
From a deontological perspective, Person X violates a public trust owed to an entire population, using public office or resources for personal gain while treating human lives as expendable.
From a virtue ethics perspective, corruption on this scale reflects profound injustice, greed and disregard for the common good

History teaches one unforgiving lesson that when injustice becomes ordinary, no one remains a spectator forever. Today's silence can become tomorrow's regret. A nation is safest when every citizen defends justice even when it is inconvenient. In a sinking boat no seat is above the water.
@ObuaHamson@mkainerugaba A pressure group cannot appoint patriotism. You don't become more patriotic because you're PO-59 or PO-70. Service to Ugandans and not serial numbers is the real test.
No Regime Abducts Its Way to Permanence
Abductions, unexplained deaths and impunity are the final refuge of governments that have run out of legitimacy. History is clear: Marcos fell. Mubarak fell. Ben Ali fell. When leaders place themselves above the law, the people eventually withdraw their consent to be governed.
The NRM came promising fundamental change. Today, many Ugandans ask whether that promise has been replaced by fear and coercion. Power sustained by intimidation is borrowed time.
Uganda deserves justice, accountability and peaceful democratic change. No regime abducts its way to permanence.
