@DrJesseMorse Starbucks went from a pleasant and consistent coffee experience that I sought out, to a dessert drink shop. Frequently dirty, annoying locks on the bathrooms. An unpleasant experience that's now a last resort option when traveling, just above a (break glass) McDonald's visit.
@davidasinclair@drjasonfung This might be better for hormone stability too.
Excessive carb restriction can reduce testosterone levels in men due to increased SHBG.
@rossiadam Amazing post ๐.
Note To Women: Literally ALL men have stories like this living on in our heads. It's one reason why guys will randomly pop up out of nowhere months or years later. We fumbled the ball in the moment and our egos crave resolution.
@paulsaladinomd So it was pre-shredded iceberg lettuce sold in Walmart, Target, Whole Foods and Taco Bell. This is not newsworthy. Media couldn't resist using the word "explosive" because it's such click bait. Who eats iceberg lettuce anyway? Rubbish ๐ค
Abundance accelerating!
AI + Ultrasound + Water = a massive step toward Star Trek style body scanners. Midjourney blowing everyone's mind with an application of Gen-AI.
I just paid for two MRIs for a leg injury. This will democratize proactive health screening for the masses.
@ted_ryce@CraigBrockie Eating "boring" is a powerful tactic. Predictable, repeatable meals that are easy & nutritious. But I've found many have a strong resistance to it. The frequent need for "food entertainment" is akin to phone addiction. This one lever would help many reach their fitness goals.
The anecdata so overwhelmingly favors positive outcomes. It's hard not to "roll the dice" despite well documented risks (contaminants, potential side effects, etc). I accelerated healing from fractured fibula and tibia & two partially torn ligaments over the past 2 months. Once you've seen success with peptides, there's no turning back .
Kevin, was the same true when you were 33?
People in their 20a-early 30s can recover faster then middle aged men like us. There's a tradeoff to not socializing and not having sex well into your 20s as is true of nearly half of Gen-Z. And over half of them aren't drinking either. There's a correlation there.
Define "people that drink." Me: 2-3x / year. Addiction & abuse = bad (obviously). Regular drinking shaves 1-7 years of lifespan (2024 Nature study). But what's the lifespan and "quality of life" impact of 48% of adult Gen-Z never having had sex? If I have to choose between drinking, making some mistakes and some bad sleep versus being 22-28 and an involuntary celibate... easy choice. I'll make it a double๐ธ
@BStulberg The benefits of moderate alcohol have been pigeon holed. There's an epidemic of lonliness in young people. They also don't drink and are terminally online. Would make for an interesting study.
@scs_real It's still a great song. With some fun remixes made of it. Eddie Murphy also never auditioned for an acting role in his entire career. GOAT Status
