@ConjureDM @SageAdviceDnD@JeremyECrawford that is why I am asking. RAW would conclude that this automatically frees a grappled creature. At the cost of a bonus action!
Hi @JeremyECrawford TCE Telekinetic Feat allows to "telekinetically shove one creature" for 5 feet. Creatue can willingly fail the connected save. If a creature is being grappled, does it auto-free the creature? Assuming it gets shoved out of range of the grappler?
@jurgenappelo yes, but does this mean only people who do the facilitator training get access. I am willing to pay for it, just think it is too much as a training for myself
Hi @jurgenappelo , my team and I were using these great videos of yours for training https://t.co/kJ2U4U3cSQ Forgive me for maybe missing it: where did the videos go? Help!
Hi @JeremyECrawford does Freedom of Movement help against the Sentinel Feat effect: "When you hit a creature with an opportunity Attack, the creatureโs speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn." cheers
@JamesBockman1@illinaryplayer0@SageAdviceDnD@JeremyECrawford It is also my current thinking but looking from the other perspective: Freedom of Movement is a somewhat powerful spell (4th lvl) with the focus on NOT being stopped in your movement. So, hoping we can get clarity on this from Jeremy ๐ฌ
@JeremyECrawford So under freedom of movement, a creatures speed can be reduced to 0 (non-magically) but they are able to suspend 5ft to escape? So after that, (if in init.) their speed would still be zero for that turn?
@illinaryplayer0@SageAdviceDnD@JeremyECrawford Thanks and True, but Freedom of Movement also helps against manacles or being grappled in exchange for 5ft movement. Both not being magical effects. And the RAW state โsuch asโ which indicates this being examples and not a complete list.
