@HydREGuide They save money by not printing menus and having flexibility in not having unavailable items on the menu.
Yes. It’s a horrible practice. But just mentioning their POV. Kinda understood why after a friend told me.
@HiHyderabad The road bad parking on the side. They put CC road and suddenly there’s no parking. I had to park on 36 when I visited them. It’s idiotic of them not to figure out parking when they opened the place.
@santoshimz I know a couple who do it. Option only available on phone/tablet I think. Yes, it’s barbaric. But gotta tell you, there were a few old artsy European movies where I was tempted to try it out.
@santoshimz They won’t. It’s a fact that footfalls are falling. Every producer knows that. It’s idiotic to not team up against OTTs. Can’t believe they’re still in every-man-for-himself mode.
@santoshimz Titanic tickets didn’t have a date. They just had “week” numbers. Our tickets had Week 3. We thought April 3rd week. Turns out it was week 3 of release. 10 of us went and came back disappointed, having missed the movie by 1 whole week. We all saw it on VCD that day. Great times.
@InvestHyderabad It’s so stupid to fall for this. Without a tenant, it means they’re paying us back our own money. It’s a massive red flag by them, that screams: “we’re over charging you”.
Just realised that Rakendu Mouli, who is the Telugu dialogue writer for MAHAVATAR NARSIMHA and COOLIE, was missing from both the press meets that happened in Hyderabad. He wasn’t invited apparently. This isn’t the first time writers are being ignored on promotional platforms. Sure, popular faces will fetch the film the reach it but don’t writers and lyricists, who play an equally important role in taking films to audiences beyond languages and boundaries, deserve equal respect? Sad thing is, Rakendu is an established, proven writer. Imagine what struggling and new writers/lyricists must be ensuring.
Dear stars, directors and producers, PLEASE RESPECT WRITERS AND LYRICISTS.
@santoshimz Everyone is mimicking True Black, no one expected that. Then Roast opened a behemoth and is even managing to fill it up. As I said, it’s a gamble. If it clicks, it’s real good money. True Black, Roast, Karafa, Roastery are the success stories.
