Mnemonicsmed is startin campaign.We are planning a special initiative-"#AbhayaKaBhai" where citizens across the country will tie rakhis in memory of Dr. Abhaya, a dedicated female doctor who tragically lost her life after being brutally raped and murdered while on duty at RG Kar.

Upon being invited as a Special Invitee by the Rajya Sabha Parliamentary Standing Committee, Chairperson Dr. Lakshya Mittal, National President Dr. Babita and the UDF team will participate in the high-level meeting to be held on 1st June in the Indian Parliament.

In this meeting, the Parliamentary Committee comprising 31 MPs, the Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, and the Director General of NTA will be present.

Discussions will be held in this meeting on topics related to necessary reforms in NEET, NTA and the examination system.

It was 9th of August 2024 , I received a message saying a lady doctor in West Bengal has been raped and murdered .
I saw some media reports stating it’s being called a suicide . I raised that issue as well demanding justice for her but with every passing hour i was shaken with the horrific ground realities coming to my inbox .
The images of her rotating can never be forgotten as long as i am alive

The brutality that happened to her was beyond human imagination of cruelty and Everyone who were raising that issue received threats and Cyber crime notices from the machinery .
I received many myself .

A friend of mine had police sent to her home , another had his mobile sim blocked and many received notices to remove the content .

On “reclaim the night” protest day i was in Rishikesh , meditating at a secluded place when my phone started ringing continuously . The goons were planning to destroy all evidences in RG Kar , i could hear the videos with screams of hundreds of doctors in fear , the telegram , what’s app groups were filled with SOS messages . I wasn’t able to control my emotions and anger and tried everything to support them .

Countless doctors were crying asking for help and i was helpless completely as it was totally political control taking over .

It was the most horrific time in the history of Medical profession !

All the evidences were vanished , the seminar room was destroyed .

Everything was happening live in front of the govt but nothing could have been done due to fear !

Multiple reports suggested this was a crime by a group of people but only a scapegoat was made ready while no one till date knows about other main culprits .

This Entire RG Kar incident had all my emotions involved to bring justice to Abhaya .

Years passed but she got no justice .
Today her mother has won the seat in hope to bring justice to her in any form possible and it is not about any political party but about justice .

This was the Rakhi i tied on her name and i still hope that may the super consciousness anywhere bring her justice 🙏🏻
