It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of His Majesty the Omukama of Tooro, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, at approximately 10:00 p.m. this evening.
This is an immeasurable loss to the Royal Family, the people of Tooro and the nation of Uganda.
Omukama Atulize.
Enkuba Etutire.
I call upon the people of Tooro to remain united, calm and prayerful during this difficult time.
The continuity of the Crown is assured. His Majesty leaves behind a Prince as his heir, whose identity will be formally revealed at the appropriate time, in accordance with the traditions and customs of Tooro Kingdom.
An official statement will follow with further details, including the funeral and mourning arrangements.
May His Majesty the King rest in eternal peace.

The leftism by some p'ple opposing otunu sings to the unsafe rivers in our politics/amongst our p'ple. I have the best Ganda colleagues ever. I don't know where some people get the audacity to project their bias on the person of Otunu! He is down to earth.
UPDATE: Uganda Airlines officials have failed to appear before the COSASE committee, prompting members to resolve that more than seven officials be summoned by CID officers attached to the committee. Those to be summoned include former and interim chief executive officers of the Airlines. The decision follows the committee’s visit to Entebbe International Airport last week, after which the airline officials were expected to respond to findings and questions arising from the inspection. COSASE chairperson Muwada Nkunyingi has adjourned the meeting to Thursday at 8am, when the summoned officials are expected to appear.

If someone is sending you money beyond ugx 200k, don’t use mobile money. It’s cheaper using a bank and you withdraw from atm. Even if taking a Boda to an ATMachine is involved it will still be cheaper than using mobile money 🙌🏾🙌🏾, these MTN and Airtel tariffs are just silly 🚮

The other side of Dr. Diana Atwine that the public doesn’t often see.
Well, this isn’t one of those Kampala apartments. This is a seven-storey staff house, newly commissioned at Arua Regional Referral Hospital.
Thank you, Dr. Diana Atwine, for investing in the welfare of our health workers. 👏🏽
