Banks and fintechs now run AI agents across retail, wealth, compliance and ops. Each must be explainable, tested before release and on record for model risk review.

. Today, we’re taking Postgres replication to the next level.
With WalShadow, you can now replicate Postgres to ClickHouse directly from the physical write-ahead log (WAL), without the hassles of logical replication, and with sub-second replication latency.
This one is especially personal and honestly, a little bittersweet.
We benchmark WalShadow against @PeerDBInc, something @iskakaushik and I founded years ago. PeerDB eventually became the foundation of Postgres CDC for thousands of customers.
Seeing a benchmark showing up to 50x lower replication latency than PeerDB creates mixed emotions :)It also makes me incredibly proud. Because this is exactly what we always wanted: to keep pushing Postgres CDC/replication forward.
WalShadow takes a different approach. Instead of logical replication, it works directly with the physical WAL, getting us as close to Postgres as possible and enabling replication into ClickHouse in less than a second.
Some of our best engineers have spent months working through some very hard problems to make this possible, and I’m incredibly grateful to the team for getting us here.
The ambition is the same one we had: build something that thousands of customers can reliably depend on. And, make Postgres + ClickHouse feel less like two databases connected together and more like one deeply integrated stack.
Very excited to finally share WalShadow with the world. Give it a try we’d love your feedback! 🚀 https://t.co/9NjEx7ulKS
"Building a product like ours would be impossible without Langfuse..."
@RavennaHQ builds an AI-native internal service desk where AI and human agents collaborate across IT, HR, and ops. And they build on Langfuse!

Before you write good evals, you have to pick the right things to evaluate. Main take-aways:
- source metrics from failures you see in traces
- keep the set small and maintainable
- only keep a metric if you'd take action when it moves https://t.co/G2FZjfidrb
Welcome to ClickHouse, @andy_pavlo 👋
We're launching ClickHouse Labs, a new research group advancing foundational database technology, led by Andy as VP of Database Research.
Andy is an award-winning database researcher, professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Science Department and longtime leader of the CMU Database Research Group. At ClickHouse Labs, he'll build a team to take on the hardest problems in database systems, testing their work on real workloads and publishing it in the open, across both ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.

With the Langfuse CLI and MCP, agents can instrument your app, pull traces, curate datasets, and set up evaluators. guided by our agent skill.
AI engineering on autopilot.
We built a custom sales co-pilot on ClickHouse Agents, and 81% of our sales org uses it every single day to manage accounts worth hundreds of millions of dollars. They're having thousands of conversations that use our data warehouse, salesforce, internal docs and public feeds to support our customers.
We have observability of every conversation via Langfuse, so we can grade answer quality, optimise model selection and pass intelligence to other teams on where sales needs support.
It's built entirely on the ClickHouse Cloud stack using @ClickHouseDB , @LibreChatAI and @langfuse .
This is a big part of why @ClickHouseDB acquired @langfuse , the leading open-source AI engineering platform, and kept it open source. Traces, evals, and feedback are company knowledge, so teams can run Langfuse themselves and keep the data in their own environment.
This is why building your AI story on open and scalable foundations is key, and the reason @ClickHouseDB joined forces (acquired) @LibreChatAI and @langfuse. Open platforms on top of a fast data substrate take it to the next level. https://t.co/X6EHSLKMuw
We at @ClickHouseDB are hosting a hackathon with @_hex_tech. I'm genuinely impressed by what participants are building. It's great to see how naturally teams are combining Postgres + ClickHouse, along with Hex to create real-world AI-native applications, not just "toy" projects.
Huge kudos to the 100+ teams that showed up and started hacking on ideas that could potentially change the world in the future. 🚀
Have been enjoying every conversation that I'm having! And yes, the elephant plushie did go into our slide decks.🐘

@jkbjournalist would you be interested to see if i can turn days of your investigation into minutes with my data unravel. search investigate focus on files with entities you are interested in.
@awadallah good luck! this certainly is an area which will become a lot more accessible to regular developers with the AI powered search engines on the rise. Very excited to see you make this your new mission!
@razak_dawood we should quantify what and how government actions are resulting in this increase vs organic growth. Is it your policy or just post-pandemic recovery which government is taking credit of.
@wasimakramlive i was hoping to arrive stadium buy tickets from a booth, covid jab/id would be checked at the gate and let in. i wasnt expecting to be told by security to buy tickets online, then they take pictures of myself, my nic, and my covid jab. who designs these sops?
@wasimakramlive i went to the match. horrible experience. 1) online tickets: i got jab from melbourne i couldn't buy ticket. had to mark myself under 16 and added nic instead of form-b 2) traffic was blocked 2km around stadium 3) at gate nic/jab check was so slow i missed 10 overs game.
@wasimakramlive i had others who didnt have covid jab number but were vaccinated with certificate. they were made to stand for many minutes before let go without asking any question. they take your photo at the gate and upload to system - everyone privacy is thrown out of window
