Just posted on point mapping and modeling for astrophotography. Maybe not autoguide! You can see some samples of images I've been collecting from home this spring. https://t.co/0E8j49vlMq
A couple nights ago I imaged Messier 61, a lovely spiral galaxy, without knowing that it had an active supernova. There it is, at 2:30 from the galaxy core.
@ClassicalKUSC@stravinskyite Since Gustavo mentioned the "viennese style" of a waltz, with the third beat retarded by a tiny amount, I can't stop hearing that beautiful slight stutter swing in the beat.
I've been doing some astrophotography from home instead of the desert, because reasons. And because I can! I'm surprised by the results.
Last night's observing came with an interesting puzzle. Can you figure out what happened? "This story is a bit flat"

Asteroid 22338 Janemojo makes its closest approach to Earth (2.698 AU) today, named for sidewalk astronomers @jhjones and @mojo_la https://t.co/1ajPsuYGvN
Jane @jhjones and I spent some quality time at @jdusiwines with winemaker Janelle Dusi. We had a great bottle of the 2016 Fiorento with dinner at Madeline's in Cambria.
