@NilLaney i wish Lara would've expressed that. it's only ever a fascination of humans, she never directly says wanting to join/become human unless you interpret it as such, until she chooses to be in the same world as Mari. which as transcoded symbolism, is a bit... not great...

Lara felt more like a (queer) love for humans, something she'd fight to be accepted
